The Linguistic Origins of Hebrew and Other Tongues
By Neyo Webster
Hebrew is fundamentally an African language. Jose Malcioln says it most precisely in his book The African Origins of Modern Judaism, "The evidence gathered shows these Semites (the Hebrews) spoke an Ethiopic language. The language was called Cushitic. It was the root of Aramaic, Hebrew, and Arabic. (emphasis added) The (Cushitic) language had an alphabet composed of Alf, Bet, Gemal, Dam, Dent, etc. From that language root we get the Hebrew Aleph, Beth, Teth, Gimmel, Daleth, etc. For the Arabic language version we find Alef , Ba, Jim, Dal, etc. Then came the Greeks who continuously visited Africa to obtain cultural development Europeans pretend originated in Greece. They adopted the Cushitic alphabet and made: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta on to Omega. The barbaric Romans, educated by their Greek slaves, learned the Greek alphabet which they translated into A, B, Ce, D, etc. The Roman missionaries later taught the English savages (whom Julius Caesar had seen naked in Britain in 49 B.C.E.). Thus the Cushitic aphabet reached the British alphabet to become A, B, C, D, etc., as we know it."
Prof. Jose V. Malcioln was born in Panama of a Moroccan-Hebrew mother. He taught in the New York school system for many years. He also taught in Mexico, Spain, Amherst, Brooklyn, Boricua and Malcolm-King Colleges. He is a graduate of the City College of New York, Baruch College, Columbia University and obtained his Ph.D. at the Institute Ibero Americano, Madrid, Spain. His wife's name is Benedicta.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to find anything else by or about this author and his work. His magnum opus The African Origins of Modern Judaism is sadly but not surprisingly out-of-print. Fortunately, I have a used copy obtained overseas.
