“THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN”

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” (Rev. 2:9)

“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” (Rev. 3:9)

“…beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.” (Matt. 16:11)

For the past several months, I have been on a journey, a journey through a bewildering matrix. To a degree, I feel like I’ve changed paths, switched gears. I have plunged into something that in its very nature is pervasive, so insidious, and so devilish, that it bears to be exposed.

There is a physical entity which is spiritual in nature that far exceeds the natural realm of the understanding. This entity is the synagogue of Satan. But Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the true Messiah of Israel, is very specific about who these people are. He says that they claim to be Jews but are not; but in fact are liars. He is keenly aware, intimately aware of their flagrant blasphemies. They claim allegiance to God but secretly are the synagogue of Satan.

Their religion is camouflaged in deceit, dissimulation, and perverted wickedness. They in fact sit in Satan’s seat. They are positioned firmly in that place of global authority. These pretentious Jews formulated a system called “Babylon.” In fact their Talmud is the bedrock, the very justification for their licentiousness and quest for world domination.

She is described in the scripture as a woman “arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones (she is the epitome of worldly preeminence and wealth), having the golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.” This is an astounding picture of the influence of this Jewish power, this false Jewish power.

This woman is elegant, pleasing to the eye and indiscernible to the average citizen of any given country, irrespective of social status. Upon her forehead, now going back to my initial reference of this Jewish system being termed “Babylon,” she has a name written called:

MYSTERY: this signifies her uncanny ability to operate covertly in the earth. She moves mysteriously, deceiving unwary gentiles in her path. She is a master at subterfuge, dissimulation, and reckless perversion at its most subtle level. She lives by a deep, cavernous code of secrecy and everyone born into her lives by that same code.

BABYLON THE GREAT: Spiritual prostitution rests with her. She is representative of the womb that spawns the depths of the counsels of Satan.

THE MOTHER OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH: This delineates the apex of the wickedness of this imperial Jewish power. This woman is not content to simply bask in her debauchery and vainglory. We see that she holds the saints in her piercing, bone-crushing fangs. John says, “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered in great admiration.” (Rev. 17:6)

But more is to be revealed that becomes more insidiously degenerate, reprehensible, and monstrous. The woman is carried by the beast! (Rev. 17:7) The beast is the incarnation of satanic power, ultimately. The prowess of this power is represented by seven heads and ten horns. Serious spiritual interpretation is required here or the whole point can be missed.

Within this anti-Christ system, there are seven mountains, seven representing a complete unifying system of perfection. The seven heads symbolize this mountain. And the woman sits on these seven mountains of continental power. (17: 9) In conjunction with the mountains are seven kings; five are cut off, one remains, and the other has not yet been revealed.

But upon his (the king not yet revealed) illustrious advent, he will continue “a short space.” Time is not the predominating factor. What is paramount here is his influence. In verse 11, we see that this beast has a chameleon-like nature, he is the eighth, but is the seventh at the same time. God brings us into the psychology of these people called the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, but are not, but in fact lie. In verse 12, we are introduced to the ten horns; the ten horns are further elaborated upon. These ten horns are in fact ten kings. But these kings have received no kingdom as of yet. However, power is conferred on them by the beast. And John is very specific when he says, “These have one mind (they are unified in thought, purpose, and will), and shall give their power and strength to the beast.”

Now this is where the script gets more intriguing: “THESE SHALL MAKE WAR WITH THE LAMB!” (17:14) In this colossal struggle, the Lamb (Christ) shall overcome them based on this sole criterion: FOR HE IS LORD OF LORDS, AND KING OF KINGS. But it does not conclude there; there is the corporate man (us): AND THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM ARE CALLED, CHOSEN (the true Israel, the Church), AND FAITHFUL.

At this point, “the woman” is now revealed as the “the whore.” (Rev. 17: 1b) Within this profoundly iniquitous matrix, a great betrayal, this striking coup d’etat occurs. The ten kings rebel against the whore; they desolate her, strip her naked, eat her flesh, and burn her with fire! It is to be understood that this is the predetermined sovereign will of God at work here. It is elucidated by John that, “God hath put in their hearts (the ten kings’) to fulfill His will, and to agree and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” Essentially and fundamentally, we are dealing with the same corrupt system. One is seemingly destroyed that the other might continue.

The nature of what is being discussed here is spiritual and prophetic in the sense that it communicates the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Rev. 19: 10b) God uncovers the conspiracy in order to bring us into a fuller understanding of what He is accomplishing in Christ. I must assure myself as the road becomes ever so isolating that what is being revealed to me is not accidental but deliberately intended by God for me to know and inform others with.
