Zionism Unveiled's First Commemorative

Editor's Note:
July 31, 2010 commemorates Zionism Unveiled’s first anniversary of independent research and reporting. The investigation into international Jewish Zionism was the initial catalyst and theme of this work. However, inquiry into this complex and heavily nuanced issue, as I have discovered, opens the doors to other fields of investigative research, as well. My greatest triumph as a researcher has been the uncovering of who the real Biblical Israelites were and are today. This has been the crowning achievement of this Site. Everything else pales in insignificance when the facts are compared and weighed. The reader is encouraged to read my essays and links regarding the original Hebrew Israelites of the Bible and their descendants who are alive today. These articles and links will provide substantial insight and enlightenment on an area of study that is systematically suppressed by much of the mainstream scholastic community. And in light of that tragic reality, I say congratulations to Zionism Unveiled on a job well done...and the best is yet to come. Through one mind and heart at a time, we will triumph over the conspiracy of silence! All praises and adoration is due to the Most High God of Israel for His illumination on all matters pertaining to this age and the Age to come. This could not have been accomplished without His guidance and inspiration to search out such matters with diligence and integrity. The old adage of "History rewards those who do its research" rings true for me. Shalom.

The Black Jews of Harlem

The Black Jews of Harlem are a minority ethnic group in New York who first appeared in the early 1900s. By 1930 there were at least four groups of Black Jews in Harlem. The most important of these groups was The Commandment Keepers Holy Church of the Living God. Commandment Keepers' founder, Rabbi Matthew, described the natural link between people of African descent and Judaism which he claimed extended from Abraham through King Solomon of Israel and Queen Sheba of Ethiopia who founded the line of kings who ruled Ethiopia. He affirmed that the “original” Jews were black people, or at least people of non-European descent who inhabited northeastern Africa and the Arabian peninsula. Yet, the Black Jews of Harlem were typically West Indian, East African, or South American in origin.

The specific origins of the Jewish faith among the blacks are obscure. Some observers trace it to West Africa where a number of ethnic groups have customs so similar to Judaism that an ancient connection may have been established. More recently Jewish slaveholders in the Carribbean may have influenced their bondspeople and in isolated situations such as intermarriage or conversions, thus introducing the faith to black West Indians. These Black Jews and their descendants gradually embraced the Orthodox religious and cultural traditions most Jews see as common practice today. By the 1930s Commandment Keepers observed all Jewish holidays, ate only kosher foods, performed bar mitzvahs and circumcisions, and separated men’s and women’s seats at the synagogue with a mechitza. Rabbi Matthew, who recognized that many Jewish traditions were European in origin, tried to incorporate African, Caribbean, and other American traditions into his community with little success.

The existence of the Black Jews of Harlem challenged prevailing ideas about race and religion during this period in which most observers considered blacks and Jews as separate racial categories. Moreover, although most Jews had historically described themselves as a race, by the 1930s, many of the descendants of the 19th Century immigrants from Europe were beginning to claim "white status" and thus refused to accept "black" Jews. White Jews in Harlem often argued that being a Jew had many social and economic challenges of its own without the perceived potential challenge of being associated with black people in a society which embraced white supremacy.

The Black Jews of Harlem were and continue to be a relatively small sect. They were typically poor, and maintained a very marginal status. Their existence consistently called into question the nature of Jewishness, as both white and black Jews defined the Black Jews groups differently, never finding consensus.

The Natufians: The Original Black Africans of Israel

By Jide Uwechia

Seven or eight thousand years ago in what geologists call the Holocene era (i.e. modern times) a black tribe from Africa established themselves in Palestine. The New York Times reported this spectacular fact in many of its editions between the years 1857 and 1932.

Skulls and thighbones of the indigenes of this culture were unearthed and studied for the first time between 1928 and 1932. The archelogical sites were first pin-pointed at Shukbah near Jerusalem and later in caves at Mount Carmel.

As always happens with the discovery of the earliest African global Diaspora, the western archeologists who carried out the digs designated them with an almost meaningless and obfuscating appellation the "Natufians."

The first authoritative account of the first and original Black African Israelites aka the Natufian was given by Sir Arthur Keith to the congress of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences. It was perceived then to be one of the greatest riddles of archaeology.

Black African Israelites

According to Sir Arthur, these original Israelites were clearly a Black people of African descent. Osteological analysis gave scientific backing to this theory. They had classical west African facial features as well as doliocephalic skull index (i.e. long large heads). Sir Arthur had stated:

"Several features stand out quite definitely first the Natufians were a long-headed people – they had cap-shaped occiputs (the lower back part of the head). Secondly, the dimensions or their heads were greater than in the pre-dynastic Egyptians. Thirdly, their faces were short and wide. Fourthly, they were prognathous (with projecting jaws). Fifthly, their nasal bones were not narrow and high, but formed a wide, low arch. Sixthly, their chins were not prominent, but were masked by the fullness of the teeth-bearing parts of the jaw."

Many of them were short and stocky with remarkable developed thighs and legs. They also had a custom of extracting the two upper central incisor teeth of their women.

On a lighter note, it is recalled that some eminent Eurocentric scholars had taken exception to Sir Arthur's conjectures. One Professor Smith had objected too, that it was hardly possible that these people (meaning Natufians) had had Negro blood, but Sir Arthur speedily corrected him.

By the word Negroid he meant merely "Negro-like characteristics" such as are found throughout Europe and even in Scandinavia.

Sir Arthur drew the inference that the Natufians had carried Aurignacian culture into Palestine after the last glacier age, which was approximately 35000 years ago.

Fast forward to 2005 and note the tedious musings of C.L. Brace (2005):

"If the late Pleistocene Natufian sample from Israel is the source from which that Neolithic spread was derived, there was clearly a sub-Saharan African element present of almost equal importance as the Late Prehistoric Eurasian element."

Unlike Any present Race

These original African Israelites may have been ancestors of all the later day Semites including the later day Jews and Arabs of the biblical times in Sir Arthur’s opinion.

The close connections of those original African Israelites to the wider Mediterranean coastal civilizations are underlined by noted physical and cultural resemblances between the two populations.

Larry Angel (1972) noted: one can identify Negroid traits of nose and prognathism appearing in Natufian latest hunters.

The Natufians had physical and cultural affinities with the Neolithic or late Stone Age men of Malta (the founding people of the Aegean and Greek cultures) and the remoter Aurignacian men of Southern Europe (who established much of the modern European stratum). Linkages have also been noted between the African Israelites and the ancient Ur of the Chaldees and the prehistoric man of South Africa.

However, to mollify the angst of his more Eurocentric scholars and promote the pale-skin supremacist agenda which underlies all mainstream establishment scholarship Sir Arthur had defamed the memory of the African Natufians of Israel with hasty and flimsy accusations of cannibalism. Suffice it to say that those baseless inferences are no longer supported by any serious research work on the culture of the Natufians.

It is generally accepted today that the Natufians were an advanced, cultured, and highly innovative people to whom we owe the gifts of agriculture and urban civilization.

Agriculture and Natufians

Modern wheat was a fertile mutation of wild wheat. It made much better food. But its seeds don’t go anywhere. They’re bound more firmly to the stalk, and they cannot ride the wind. Without farmers to collect and sow wheat, it dies. Thus modern wheat is one of those quintessential Agricultural innovation of humanity.

To better state it, it can be said with certainty that it took great scientific leap based on observation, followed by eons of experimentation before a crop as hardy and as successful as the modern wheat could have been bred. Even today thousands of years down the line, with intimidating knowledge and technological tools, humanity is not able to surpass the creation of those Black Africans of Israel.

For it is generally conceded by all authorities on this matter, that the earliest evidence of agriculture was found among those Black Africans of Jericho and the Dead Sea. It is said that in 8000 B.C. the Natufians were the first to cultivate modern wheat. They were also the first farmers. And notably they were the first Israelites. Eminent European researchers also claim that a branch from this same stock of people later moved on to Europe and became the first Europeans.

The Hebrew Heritage of Black Africa Fully Documented [Book]

Review written by Timothy A. Parham

Steven S. Jacobs (European Jew) has chosen to inform the general public about an ancient Hebrew heritage, which exist for many West Afrikan ethnic groups. He says on pages 14-15, "We in America tend to associate the word "Jew" and "Hebrew" with White people because of our European cultural conditioning. A trip to the State of Israel would dispel this notion immediately. There you will find Jews of all colors and ethnic backgrounds living side by side. And historically we can read in our own history books on African history that Black Africans, e.g. the Falasha of Ethiopia, were Jews long before Christianity or Islam made an appearance on the scene. "The White man, as is logical of human nature, has written and interpreted history largely from his own point of view."

Steven S. Jacobs concludes on pages 16-17, "The history of Israel has been handed down to us mostly from White scholars. As a result, the emphasis has been put on what ties Europe and Europeans to the Middle East. The possibility of a relationship between Black Africa and the Middle East is rarely mentioned."

"The bias in our knowledge of history runs deep. It is reflected, for example, by the fact that little space is devoted to the historic and theological kinship between Christianity and the so-called pagan Greco-Roman religions of 2,000 years ago. It also is reflected by the fact that relatively few books deal with the non-Hebraic ancestry of most White Jews who are descendants of Greeks, Romans, Armenians, Berbers and others who adopted or converted to Judaism during the period of its greatest expansion in the Mediterranean area before the Christian era began. Certainly, few White historians are able to plumb the depths of anguish and despair suffered by Black Africans who, like cattle, once were herded to the Western Hemisphere as slaves."

"No single book can deal exhaustively with any subject so that every facet and opinion is recorded therein. Our book is no exception. It is not written to rehash old viewpoints and biases. It is not to rewrite of White history in Europe or the Middle East. Our purpose among others is to redress what we believe is a long-standing imbalance in the presentation of Black history. We want to introduce you and every reader to a part of Black history which cannot be found in the standard texts and treatises on the subject. Black Americans now are in position as never before in modern history to rediscover, and reclaim if they wish, a heritage which has profoundly influenced world history and mankind: the Hebrew heritage of Black Africa."

I have quoted the majority of Chapter 2, pages 14-17 because I feel that the Sovereign Yah (the short poetic name of Yahweh) has purposed the work of Steven Jacobs to fulfill a void which has always been present in historical research, and scientific reality. Steven S. Jacobs' message is motivated by the love of Yah [The Spirit of Truth], whose purpose is to redeem the lost sheep of Yisrael (Israel).

Revelation 7:9-10, After this, I looked; and there before me was a huge crowd, too large for anyone to count, from every nation, tribe, people and language. They were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed in white robes and holding palm branches in their hands; and they shouted, "Victory to our God (YHWH), who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb (Yahoshua)!

Sinai in Arabia

Intriguing video showing that Mt. Sinai is in Arabia. Paul says this in Galatians 4:25-26 in an allegorical reference, "For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all." I've read this many times but never really considered the historical reference as brought out by Raieyez, the maker of this film.

EXPLOSIVE NEW BOOK!

THE SECRET RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BLACKS AND JEWS, VOL. II
By the Nation of Islam Historical Research Department

Product Description
Drawing almost entirely from Jewish documents, the first volume of this series (1991) revealed the Jewish role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Jews came to the Americas and became slave traders, auctioneers, plantation owners, and slave shippers. They became important merchants and financiers in the American South and helped to grease the wheels of the plantation economy, making slavery more profitable than ever. Volume Two of The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews reveals that as merchants and businessmen, Jews gained much in a repressive Jim Crow society. In fact, this new book answers the provocative question, If Blacks did not receive the 40 acres and a mule, then who did? Jews openly spoke of the benefits of scapegoating Blacks in the South, and Jewish politicians helped create and enforce the Jim Crow laws that kept Blacks from developing an economic foundation.

Jews even altered the practice of their religion to accommodate the racist Southern traditions. Jewish merchants in the post-Civil War South were leaders in the financial exploitation of the newly freed slaves, targeting the Black cotton sharecroppers and growing extremely wealthy in the process. Many notable Jewish families and institutions, including the Lehman Brothers, Neiman Marcus, and even the infamous Rothschild family of international bankers, can trace their wealth to the cotton fields of the American South. Under Jewish leadership, AFL unions became the instrument of white working-class racism and began systematically forcing Black workers out of a variety of occupations they once dominated.

Many Jewish labor officials fought for government policies that sought the total removal of Asians from American soil. Shockingly, Jews were found collaborating with and even financing such racial terrorists as the Ku Klux Klan. Jews became Klan members and some even supplied the Klan with guns, sheets, and hoods. When lynchings and massacres occurred in America, Jewish leaders often praised these outrages, and some in the Jewish press cheered them on. Volume 2 contains thousands of quotations and footnotes, cites Jewish scholars, rabbis, and Jewish newspapers, and includes maps, diagrams, charts, photographs, an index, and a bibliography.
